2012 Pole shift

    The 2012 pole shift has been getting a lot of media attention these days. Concern about the effects that it may have on our world, our lives, and overall outlook of the future is causing panic. But, what does the 2012 pole shift really mean?
       Essentially with the 2012 pole shift, the north and south poles will reverse. Becoming opposite of what they are now. A more simple explanation is that our world will begin rotating in a different direction, much different than it is now. Along with speculated disasters that have the possibility of taking us and the world with it.
      It is thought that this 2012 pole shift will affect many different aspects of life. From clock irregularity, disruption of the magnetic fields between the sun and earth, and even the overall cycle of the earth’s rotation.
    All of which have been thought to have been predicted by the ancient Maya culture. But, who are we to say that the world will end? How will we know if the poles will shift in the year 2012? Simply by watching and waiting.
